I'm New

Attending a church for the first time can make a person feel a little nervous or maybe even awkward. At First Free Will, we strive to make our guests feel comfortable and at ease. Here’s some FAQ&A that might help. If you don’t see the answer to your question, just send an email to pastor(at)ffwbwagoner.org.  He’ll be happy to give you an answer!

Why CHURCH?

The primary reason we gather on Sundays is to worship the God who offers the forgiveness of sins and a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In other words, it is more about Him than it is about us. In a typical service, we sing about Him and to Him. Our pastor will teach us about Him, and our hope is that everyone will encounter and connect with Him in a personal and life-transforming way.

What is a service usually like?

Pretty simple, actually... we sing, worship together, and hear God's Word taught with relevant application. We value being authentic and real. We realize ultimately everything we do is about worshipping our Savior Jesus Christ.

What should I wear?

You’ll find that we are not an overly formal church. You may see some in their “Sunday Best” while others wear their “Only Best”. Some men wear ties, some wear blue jeans. Some women wear dresses, some prefer slacks. Our only “dress code” is modesty.

Are there programs for young people?

We have an active children & teens ministry. During the worship service, the teens have Teen Worship service, and the little ones have Children’s Church. Our nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings. So, no matter the “age or stage”, your children are taught and cared for by competent, caring people during the worship service. If you have any other questions about our children and teen programs, you’re welcome to ask our Youth Pastor, youth(at)ffwbwagoner.org

Do I have to give money?

We ask that you let God direct your heart when it comes to giving financially. Financially supporting First Free Will is ultimately an act of worship to God for those who share our vision and mission. We certainly have no expectation of you giving financially as a guest.
