Pastor Bill Phillips is a native of Oklahoma having been born in Stigler and raised in the Claremore area. He has attended Free Will Baptist churches all his life but did not make a serious commitment to Christ until October of 1971. Shortly thereafter, he answered the call to the ministry. He married his wife, Kay, in 1973 and they have three children.

Bill & Kay served as tentmaker missionaries in Rupert, Idaho for 8 years. In December of 1995, they were appointed as missionaries to Utah - the first in Free Will Baptist history. By 2004, the church in Utah was organized and self-supporting.

Pastor Phillips brings almost 40 years of experience and study to our church. You will find his gift for telling Bible stories unique, his sense of humor refreshing, and his sermons encouraging. He and Kay are excited about what God is doing here in Wagoner!
